This private residence in the bustling SOHO neighborhood in Manhattan, offers its owners a luxurious means of escaping the city grit and grime. The owners of this home were keen to preserve and restore the original solid wood arched portal and stairway in the foyer, however they envisioned having a modern white kitchen in a minimalist Scandinavian style. To connect the two spaces, we designed a built-in dresser under the stairs, which is both highly functional and serves to unite the two disparate styles.
